Is this course approved for Massachusetts LTC/FID applications?
Yes. This course satisfies the firearms safety training requirement for Massachusetts LTC/FID applicants.
Does this course include live fire?
Yes. Live-fire training is included as part of the course.
Will I receive my license after completing the course?
No. Upon successful completion, you receive the certificate needed to apply. Your LTC/FID application is handled by the appropriate Massachusetts licensing authority.
Do I need prior shooting experience?
No. Prior shooting experience is not required.
Do I need to own a firearm?
No. We ask that you do not bring any firearms with you to this course.
What should I bring?
Just a valid photo ID.
How long is the course?
This course is 4 hours total with 1 hour on the range.
How much does it cost?
This course is $199.
Are ammo, rentals, eye protection, and ear protection included?
Yes. When you take a MA LTC course with us, everything you need is included.
Can non-Massachusetts residents take the course?
Yes. Non-residents are welcome to take the course and then apply for an out-of-state MA LTC.
